Book review
My book review, which I mentioned earlier, came out today on H-SHEAR, a discussion list for historians of the early republic. I reviewed Stanley Harrold's new book, The Rise of Aggressive Abolitionism: Addresses to the Slaves. One of the great things about the H-NET lists is that they allow reviewers to write extended pieces, instead of short synopses, and they also allow authors to respond to reviews.
